Appropriate management of diabetes and control of blood glucose level is important for prevention of complications. I would not advise you to take any 'short cuts' to get your levels under control for a medical test. It is important that you see a diabetologist for better long term control of your blood glucose levels.
Next Steps
Don't fall for any quick fix to get your glucose level below under any particular number. Consult a diabetologist for further management.
