Sir my father have to take insulin fiasp before meals(BFF,BD,BL) and no insulin if sugar level below 140 for this criteria when should I check sugar level each time before meals or 2 hr after eating

Before meals, and ensure that the sugar check is separated by last food intake by at least 2 hrs for better accuracy of the readings
