I have been suffering from topical steroid damaged face for the past few months. I had used a steroid based cream on my entire face unknowingly for the past 2 years and I stopped using it just a few months ago. As soon as I stopped the cream I started getting tiny itchy bumps all over my face and my face became darker. I consulted a dermatologist and I followed her medication for a month. My face got clear but after a month I started getting those tiny bumps again. I consulted my dermat again and she asked me to continue the medicines for one more month and I followed it. Again my face remained clear as long as I was taking the medicines. After that I got those bumps again here and there. So I have realised that my face remains clear as long as I take the medicines specially a tablet named Omnacortil 30.
I want to get rid of these bumps permanently without continuing the medicines for a long period. Please help me out.

Stop everything and follow good and simple skin care routine with mild cleanser, moisturizer , sunscreen. Avoid sun exposure
Avoid any chemical on the face
Do not scrub.
