Usual recovery in your case will be 2-3 months to keep it from coming back.
Pain can be reduced in 5 days to allow you to carry on your daily activities, how ever actual strengthening starts from this point, and success and time period depends on your compliance and accuracy of interventions.
Chiropractic Mobilization will help.
Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.
It cannot be cured but that doesn’t mean you will live with pain for the rest of your life. With correct Physiotherapy and some effort on your part you can live a very normal life. Take care n exercise regularly.
