Suffering from High fever
My son who is 8 months old with weight 7.5 kg has been suffering from fever since 2 days. He is often scratching his ear. Yesterday we took him to a hospital and they prescribed paracetamol dolo 120mg and gave one antibiotic. We have been doing the sponging process to reduce the temperature but from 2.45 AM today his temperature is High. We would like to get consulted with a pediatrician. Kindly provide your valuable advice.

You should give him Augmentin syrup2.5ml 8hrly for 5 days along with dolo 4ml 6hrly. Cont.sponging, it will take 3or4 days to get cured

Fever if not responding to dolo and antibiotics is a matter of concern
Need to rule out ear infection and any other symptoms life reduced oral intake Vomiting cough colder, better to get detailed physical examination
