For the past 10 years i am suffering from a fungal infection like condition on my penis glans and foreskin. My foreskin got discoloured to white and i tried asking a urologist who suggested circumcision is the only viable option. Based on others opinions i stopped that and applied oil regularly and slowly it got cured and my foreskin is back with the colour. But at the tip its still there, it seems like a thick layer of tissue at the tip and i can pull my foreskin back. I also tried candid cream based on a doctors suggestion but it resulted in skin thinning and irritation. As i continuously used oil and sometimes the candid cream it started curing but i am now seeing a black patches at places on glans. I couldnt pull my foreskin yet to see it better.
Could someone please help in understanding what this condition is and can it be cured without need for circumcision ?
