Suffering from fever
Hi, My daughter is suffering from fever since yesterday, her temperature since yesterday was 99. But since today evening the temperature rises to 101.7. I am currently giving her Crocin 240 DS 5 ml thrice a day. Kindly suggest if need to change any medicine. Other than fever no other problem. She is also active and eating properly. Thanks in advance.

Crocin may not bring down the temperature to normal but certainly it will comfort the child . After 48 hrs you can go for basic tests of blood and urine to rule out any infections.

You can give Crocin 240 every 6 hourly . Tepid sponging can be done .Plenty of fluids , fresh fruits and veggies increases immunity . Body rest is advised. Add zinc , Vit C and vit D supplements too.
Next Steps
Since it could be a viral or corona , a rtpcr test would only be able to confirm what the problem is
Health Tips
If child worsens, please consult a paediatrician

No other treatment needed if she is active and eating. Monitor temperature and oxygen level every 4 hours. Is there history of travel or contact with sick person ? Then she may need tests. give lukewarm water sponging for fever. Contact a pediatrician if fever comes frequently or starts rising or other symptoms. Minor viral fevers will also last 3-4 days. Keep the child away from any elders in family
