Take him to hospital for better management.
Don't just sit at home and think about the cause.
He will need iv medications which will be difficult for you to give at home
So think less act more.
what was the cause for starting iv feeding? was is post surgery ?since how long are you on iv feed ?was the ulcer malignant? what procedure have you undergone ?
the fever could be due to infection but may be linked to your underlying disease so need proper assessment.
Next Steps
follow up with your doctor and explain the new symptoms you are observing. you can consult online after that to get a deeper understanding of your treatment and planned management
Health Tips
do not self medicate as it could impact the underlying cause and consult your doctor as early as possible as you could be having post operative infection which need to be treated properly
