the issue mentioned by you shows that you have developed sensitive tooth.
so to solve this you have two solutions
1. hit and trial solution
try using a sensitive tooth paste lets say Colgate pro relief for a month and see the results. if your condition improves then its good.
or else
2 go for a metal ceramic or all ceramic crown which will solve your issue instantly.
