My 1 year old daughter is facing a problem. We observed that the area above her right eye has suddenly swelled up and has become redish since last 1 day (photo attached)
Her left is absolutely fine.
Today is the 2nd day and we gave her atarax drops 0.5ml TDS, assuming it is an allergy.
No fever
No loss of appetite
Child is very active
Weigh 8kgs
What shall we do now?
Atarax drops 0.5 ml TDS is right? Is there any local cream which can help?
Please help

Hello. Looks like her both eyelids are swollen ( right more than left). Could be an allergy to insect bite or any other problem. Was she having any infection days before ?
You can give syrup Allegra 2.5 ml twice a day for 1-2 days and see if it responds in case of allergy. At the same time, consult a pediatrician for direct examination of her and better management.
Both eyes are swollen but right is more. Can be allergic phenomenon or water retention in body.
Any rash or itching in the body please note and take a physical consultation with pediatrician.
