Sudden change in nail appearance?
My right thumbnail has a wide portion horizontally across the nail (a little below the white moon-shape) that appears raised and paler than the rest of the nail. I feel pressure and numbness in my thumb around and under the nail, but there is no redness. No recent injury, no obvious sign of infection or fungus. Should I be concerned?
