Sudden black stain under eye

Asked for Male, 58 Years

A black spot suddenly appeared blow the corner of one eye from nose side like a big drop. I noticed it when I woke up in the morning. It is not itchy nor is it dry skin. Please let me know what can be a possible reason and what tests should i do. Thanks
