Struvite diet
My pug has struvite crystals in her urine. We are giving her prescription diet. What else can we give. ? Can I give raw potato to her because she doesn't eat boiled one?

Potatoes makes urine alkaline ..so better to avoid incase of Strvite stones..Give foods which makes urine acidic.

No , do not attempt for dietary changes if prescription feed is given by a vet. If at all changes in diet would be recommended by your vet, raw food isn't the best option. Thoroughly boiled food always.

Just stick with her prescription diet, and also, if your veterinary doctor has prescribed any medication, then follow it. Go for a follow-up to make sure the condition is managed properly or not.
