Strong desire to cheat on my wife
I have an overwhelming desire to cheat on my wife which I feel I am possessed with and controls me continuously , despite the fact I know and believe and understand clearly that what I am doing is wrong and even hate it as well ! . I feel I am encountering an 2 sided mental behaviour that could be related to a mental illness. Please support

Hello, From your description here I am not so confident about a possible mental illness. However it seems that you are dealing with a psychological conflict. I would suggest that you please meet a clinical psychologist, a psychiatrist or a psychotherapist to help you in understanding the basis of such thoughts and behaviour. Thereafter they can enable you to make the decision for yourself. A good therapist is what I recommend for you... Hope this helps you.
