Mother got mild TIA. Fasting sugar : 147 mg/dL Hba1c: 7.67 BP: 135/78 Medications: Metaformin 500 mg twice a day, Glimepiride 2mg before dinner, Ecospirin gold 20 before bed, Eltroxin 100mg Kidney test reports very much Ok. Egfr: 89.83 Want to avoid glimepiride due to TIA episode. Please suggest alternate Medications for diabetics to be bring values under control.
