Hello Doctor,
I hope you’re doing well.
I would like to consult you regarding some body skin concerns I am facing.
I have very dry, flaky, and rough skin, dark skin with strawberry legs (small dark spots on my legs), and my overall skin tone looks dark and uneven.
I would like to achieve clear, brighter, and smoother skin.
Could you please suggest treatments and suitable skincare products like body cleansers, exfoliators, moisturizers, and sunscreens that can help me?
I prefer using gentle and dermatologically tested brands like Plum, Minimalist, Dot & Key, etc., but I am open to your recommendations.
Please also let me know if any active ingredients like lactic acid, urea, or glycolic acid would be helpful for my skin condition. Now am using chemist play lactic acid body wash and nivea cocoa butter body lotion

You are likely experiencing keratosis pilaris with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and xerosis. The “strawberry legs” suggest clogged or enlarged follicular openings with retained keratin or pigment.
Next Steps
Continue Chemist at Play lactic acid body wash (good choice).
Switch to a moisturizer with urea 10% + lactic acid, like Minimalist 5% Lactic Body Lotion or Fixderma Salyzap Body Lotion at night.
Use a physical exfoliating mitt 2–3 times weekly.
Consider Dot & Key AHA exfoliating body serum 2–3 times/week.
Daily broad-spectrum body sunscreen (Minimalist or Neutrogena SPF 30+) if exposing legs.
Health Tips
Avoid harsh scrubbing; be consistent with moisturization. Improvements are gradual—expect visible changes in 6–8 weeks.
