Hello dear psychiatrists, I have decided to stop my medicines intake after 3 months.
I have been on Zapiz(0.25), Escnx plus (10mg) and Tancodep(2).
What are the possible side effects I may have as I am type-1 Diabetic and also have panic attacks, Fear and low self confidence issues, sleeping patterns were not good before. Reason for asking this is Yesterday's night, I decided to not take the medicines and I couldn't sleep, so I took double the dose of escnx plus 10 mg and then slept.
Now I don't feel like taking any further medicines.
Please let me know. Thankyou doctors.

Please don’t self medicate
For how long the meds need to be taken aid best decided by your treating psychiatrist, ideally for depression with anxiety issues the treatment needs to be taken for 6 months to 1 year
You are doing more harm by stopping meds by yourself/ taking double doses
Hi.. before stopping medications.. get a consultation with your treating psychiatrist to see if your symptoms have subsided. Then your medicines will be gradually reduced and stopped over a period of time.
