Stomach pain on upper right side
I get stomach pain in the night times ONLY, right under my breast line on the right side. The pain confides under the breast area on upper right side of the stomach and on the upper right back as well. Sometimes it goes upto the chest. The pain is consistent on the same spot and is only bearable while in a sitting posture. Pains more while lying down. Started facing this problem after being on primolut n 10 mg daily for stopping my prolonged periods which had crossed 14 days of bleeding. Did not have such a problem before starting primolut n. Currently taking pan D every morning on empty stomach assuming its gas. Please help.

Hi, right side of abdominal discomfort generally happens due to problem in liver/ gall stone or gastritis and rarely due to infection in right part of colon .Other causes of lower right pain abdomen are appendicitis and right uretric stone colic. Kindly get a ultrasound of abdomen to rule out liver and biliary cause. Take light food for few days. Feel free to ask any further quary related to your problem. Regards
