Still Unwell After H. pylori Treatment
I was diagnosed with H. pylori and completed triple therapy 14 months ago, with a negative follow-up urea breath test. However, I still experience throat, chest, and nose tightness/pain, brain fog, fatigue, sweating, and frequent bowel movements (2–3 times/day). I’ve tried dietary changes, but symptoms persist. Is it normal to still have these issues this long after eradication, and what could be causing them?

Complete change of lifestyle and diet plan drastically first is advisable. H. Pylori  is recurrent.

Hello. Based on what you described, even after successful H. pylori treatment, some people may continue to experience symptoms like chest or throat discomfort, fatigue, and frequent bowel movements due to gut sensitivity, acid reflux, or digestive imbalance. In the meantime you may consider: • Eating small, regular meals • Avoiding very spicy, oily, or acidic foods • Managing stress and maintaining good sleep • Taking probiotics or curd in diet if tolerated Since treatment depends on the exact report values and symptoms, a detailed review would be helpful. You may book an online consultation for proper evaluation and personalized treatment guidance.

Even after treatment, some people can still have stomach irritation or acidity for some time. Try eating light meals, avoid spicy/oily food, caffeine, and manage stress. If symptoms are continuing, please consult me so I can evaluate you properly and guide the right treatment.
