Still lightly bleeding after meprate 10m
I have pcod, doctor prescribed me meprate 10 mg for 5days,which helped me to get my periods back , i had normal bleeding till my 7th day but from 8th on words and till today i am still bleeding blood clots and spotting its been 14 days now from the first day of my periods.
I also took etosys MF for 3 days on my 12th day of my periods to stop it but it didn't help and i am still spotting and small blood clots are coming out.
I am clueless of why us this happening. Please can someone tell me what is wrong and why is this happening.

Please get a sonography of the lower abdomen done. You may need a D&C.

Etosys mf temporarily reduces flow doesn't cure it .if you had missed periods for 2-3 months it could happen so still advisable to get a scan done to find out the cause and get blood test done . Check for haemoglobin too can take iron rich diet and supplements
You could start hormonal pills as it will provide better control of cycle regularisation.

You need investigations to find out the reason for the prolonged bleeding
Total days of bleeding including spotting should not be more than 7
You need an urgent ultrasound and blood investigations to pinpoint the reason
Etosys will only help you reduce the flow not stop it
