Hi Doctor, This is concerned to my mother.. What is the reason for stiffness in rectus femoris muscle after Traumatic head injury ..she is able to bend her knee.. What should be done to overcome it..please guide.

Post head injury can lead to a condition called Myositis ossificans (MO) of rectus or capsules and muscles surrounding the joint. Meet up with orthopaedic surgeon. X ray of the part can sort out the issue.
