STD test information
I had unprotected sexual encounter 2 years back in january 2020 and last week I took lal path labs std panel test which included tests for Chlamydia, Herpes, HIV and Syphilis. I'm not really sure whether the phlebotomist used a new needle but when asked he said they only use new needles and even my final reports were given incomplete without HIV results. After talking to customer care they gave my complete final reports including HIV results (all of which were negative). Should i be worried about the accuracy of my test results? Is it normal for labs to give incomplete reports like this? Should I get a retest done or should I move on with my life? And also are there any other tests other than the above mentioned that i need to get tested for (if there are no abnormal symptoms)?
