Stage 4 metastatic
Hi,
My mom has metastatic breast cancer diagnosed a month ago and undergoing chemotherapy. Completed 2 weekly chemo and now one full chemo completed which is 2nd cycle. And my mom is saying the lump in armpit has reduced by half and even breast lump is reduced a bit. So is this good? Or still the distant parts will be not reduced?

It is great news! She is responding to the medicines. That is good news. You can go ahead and plan for the surgery after a few more cycles and remove the breast and the armpit lymph nodes . This is advanced breast carcinoma but still at present the response is good. You should celebrate for that
