My BP is ranging between 135/88 to 138/91 from past three months. Should I start the hypertension medicine? I'm living an active lifestyle with 10k daily steps however I'm 10 kg overweight. Is it time for me to get treatment for hypertension

If you have followed lifestyle management and diet modifications for the last 3 months and your BP remains constantly above 135/85 on home based monitoring,  following BP monitoring protocol, you may need to start pharmacological treatment. If you don't have any risk factors like smoking, cholesterol etc you can still continue with lifestyle changes
