My sister is 14 years old and has squint since childhood. In 2023, we consulted Disha Eye Hospital and the doctor advised that surgery should be done after 3–4 years. I want to know:
1. Is it safe to wait till she is 17–18 for squint surgery?
2. Will delaying the surgery affect her vision or recovery results?
3. Is surgery at this age mainly cosmetic, or can it also improve binocular vision?
Please suggest the best timing for surgery.

Yes it is safe to go for squint surgery at 17-18 years of age..visual outcome and binocular vision depends upon her current vision...if you get online consultation and show previous reports I can counsel you properly.
