Apart from patching & glasses, We can plan for optical penalization with atropine eye ointment. Usually large angle squint at this age may require surgery also. Plz discuss the prognosis & other method of amblyopia treatment for your child with your squint specialist...
Next Steps
keep away the child from mobile screen.
Health Tips
regular follow up for assessment of amount of squint is very important. to differentiate that wtheather it will correct with glass or need of squint surgery also.

It is often difficult to get a child to wear glasses but if the glasses are of an appropriate power then the child gets used to it. Unfortunately glasses are mandatory and if despite repeated efforts child removes glasses get the power rechecked. Use comfortable frames and large sized optic lens
