I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing ongoing pain. It's good that you've already started physiotherapy, as that can be helpful for managing sprains and strains. If the ultrasound massage has increased your pain, it's important to let your physiotherapist know so they can adjust the treatment. In terms of medication, you could try taking over-the-counter pain relievers such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen, following the recommended dosages. However, it's important to check with a doctor before taking any new medication, especially if you have any medical conditions or are taking other medications. If the pain persists despite these measures, it may be a good idea to see an orthopedic specialist who can further evaluate your condition and recommend appropriate treatment. They may also order imaging tests such as an MRI to get a better understanding of the injury. You can ask for a referral from your primary care physician or look for a specialist in your area who has experience with shoulder and leg injuries.
