Spine surgery
I have l4 5 disc prolapse compressing right nerve in my mri...i have pain in right leg,unable to walk after some distance,heavyness on leg,i m scaring for surgery...is it success or not.. doctor suggested me endoscopic or microscopic...but i have fear of surgery...and i want to ask is i loose my all strenght after surgery and my life expectancy become short? i am 31 yrs old. height 5.10 and wt 84 kg

Not all patients of backache need surgery. Most of them can be treated with out surgery. This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate you  in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. If your physical examination findings and mri findings suggested, you will require surgery, then yes it has good success rate. Of course there are some risks involved but with newer techniques those are minimised.
