Spine cyst
This is for my father in law, cyst has been detected in spine, please find all his reports.
Doctor has advised surgery and remove the cyst.
But one doc said that if you do surgery, the cyst will form again because of the gap and is advising to put a rod in the gap. Is that true.
Are there any chances of cyst forming again?
If yes , how many years does it take for the cyst to form again.

cyst. Personal examination of the patient, along with MRI & CT scan & other investigations may be required.

Treatment depends on whether the cyst is in the cord or bones of the spine. Plz meet a spinal orthopaedician
