If there is a pregnancy will it be visible on a normal transabdominal ultrasound sonography check uo for abdominal pain? or is there a special ultrasound for it?

A pregnancy less than 6 weeks (from the date of last period) may be missed in abdominal ultrasound. Otherwise all pregnancies will be picked up by ultrasound scan, whether Intrauterine or ectopic.
