My kid is 23 months old. She still has soft spot on the front side of head. why is it not thickening?

The soft spot called anterior fontanelle closes by 18 months usually. Closure may be delayed due to vitamin d deficiency or other causes. Meet a pediatrician

It usually closes by 18-20 months. The size will usually decrease definitely then and you can feel a small spot only. If it's still large then maybe we have to check

Greetings it's know as anterior fontanelle it' usually closes by 18months it's quite normal
