Usually snoring is due to the sound created by the upper fauces in the mouth while breathing. It happens during sleep, as at that time our muscles slag. It may also be due to tonsillitis or adenoids etc. Let the person sleep on his/her sides. As sleeping on back increases the problem Check for any infection or inflammation in the throat.
