Snoreplasty- Obstructive Sleep Apnea
I am suffering from Allergic Rhinitis and Asthma and I snore heavily. A few days ago, I underwent a home sleep test and I was found to be suffering from moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnea and my AHI was 15.7. Also, hypoxemia was detected and oxygen level fell upto 84%. I was advised Auto CPAP. I have read online about Injection Snoreplasty which is cost-effective? Is it effective in treating moderate OSA? Is it available in India? Should I go for it?

Ideally first a drug induced sleep endoscopy should be done to assess the level of obstruction. The obstruction can be at the level of nose nasopharynx or oropharynx. Depending upon site if obstruction the surgery for sleep apnoea should be planners.
