I have the below symptoms very frequently
1: Eye redness 2: Burning feeling in eyes 3: Sandy feeling in the eye 4: Watery eyes 5: Mild blurred vision 6: Eye strain 7: Sensitivity to light 8: mild running nose and blocked nose.
Are my above symptoms Allergic Rhinitis or Dry Eyes due to wearing Contact Lens? I wear contact lens for nearly 16 hours continuously. How to identify the reason being my symptoms?

All your eye symptoms can happen because of dry eyes and allergy as well.. The most important symptom one should have to call it as allergy is having itching..
Dryness in eyes can cause sandy feel, redness, blurring of vision..
Allergic rhinitis will cause nose blockage and running nose..
It is not mandatory that patient with allergic rhinitis should have allergic eye symptoms as well.. It can b co existent dry eyes and allergic rhinitis as well.. Also allergy from contact lenses itself can cause your symptoms as well..
Try to stop using contact lenses for 1-2weeks rather use spectacles and use lubricating eye drops like systane complete eye drops 3or4 times in a day and try to observe the difference in your eye symptoms..
Hope this is helpful
