Weirdly smooth patch developed on the roof of my mouth - very difficult to get a good look at but it seems to be grey/white. I'm a (very light) smoker. It's been there about three days, should I see my doctor?

It is not a very good sign. It's caused may be due to smoking habits. But sometimes it's caused a fungal infection. Stress also agrivate this type of lesion. Light or heavy smokers not a criteria for responsable, but immunity level of every persons are different. So please consult with maxillofacial surgeon or maxillofacial radio diagnosis expert.
