Smoker with Bronchitis
I have been coughing. My throat itches. I smoke heavily from a tobacco pipe every day. I believe I have bronchitis. Can you write prescriptions for antibiotics on this website?

Hi. I understand your concern s. You will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigation like chest x ray to look for any lung infection. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest.

The first thing is to stop smoking. I need detailed history regarding cough..frequency, expectoration-colour, quantity, smell and any recent change in pattern. Only after this details and examining you we can decide whether you need antibiotics with inhalers  or only inhalers can be helpful.

It is better to consult a pulmonologist in person so that he can examine you completely and prescribe the medication.
