Constant coughing stopped smoking but coughing won't subside, also there is a constant flow of mucus.

Smokers cough is mainly due to loss of mucociliary action of airway, also growth of mucosecretry glands,,, after stopping smoking one should get examine by doctor, will require few medicine, and exercise, this will help in reducing symptoms,,
