Hello Our experts from the department of orthodontics have some suggestions. Smile corrections using orthodontic appliances take 1 year to 3 years and ceramic braces are aesthetically better compared to metal braces. Exact time frame can be decided only after clinical evaluation. Invisible aligners are the latest advancements in orthodontics. You might feel discomfort till you get used to the appliance, but it will not be painful or disturbing.

It depends upon the severity of cases. Approximately 1-3 years. Initially after putting braces some precautions needs to be taken and slight discomfort is there but not that painful. It would be better if you visit your dentist and get a thorough checkup done.

No it's not painful. Do you mean teeth alignment by braces? Time taken varies as per the severity of the problem. Can take anywhere between 6-8 months upto 36 months. Your operating dentist shall be the better person to give all the details to you beforehand.

smile correction can be done by two types of treatment now a days either by fixed orthodontic treatment(braces), or by smile design i.e, by laminates, veneers, crowns & full mouth rehabs. so if you want to go for ceramic braces it can be done after evaluation of the case clinically and your doubt about the pain its very rare and very minimal after the treatment commences the only issue is that the patient has to maintain the oral hygiene very much on a regualr basis.
Next Steps
visit the dentist and evaluate your concerned problem

1.There wont be pain but you feel discomfort for a week or until you get accustomed to it. 2. It takes 1- years depending on severity of the correction 3. Recently invisible braces came into market which are very comfortable to wear. You look for that option also
