Smegma and few bacterias usually present on skin over glans penis n they are responsible for smell.
Wash daily with soap water. Dont use Dettol it may cause severe irritation and swollen glans .. which may need surgical reduction.

Penis has smegma layer which can have smell, if you no other symptoms like itching, burning , discharge from urethra , then you can ignore the smell
For cleaning up no dettol needed plain water good enough
