Slightly swollen neck nodes
Hi all I am 27 year old mother to 10 month old daughter with slightly swollen neck nodes for past 6 months. I had gone for checkup to ent many times since I do have difficulty swallowing (no pain, just find it difficult to swallow) . But ent didn't suggest any infection. I have deviated septum and asthma. Taking asthma meds as well. What could be the reason. Do I need to go for cancer checkup?

Persistent nodes for 06 months need evaluation. Although such a long history generally goes against cancer but still we need to know the reason. You are most welcome to come for online/offline consultation. Good luck

Swollen neck lymph nodes for more than 6 months definitely needs a physical examination by a Physician. In your age, cancer is unlikely, how ever other infections, especially Tuberculosis has to be ruled out as you are a nursing mother to an infant, don't neglect it further.
