Hi,
I understand how overwhelmed and exhausted you’ve been feeling. Chronic sleep deprivation over several months can significantly affect mood, stress tolerance, blood pressure, and overall emotional stability, so the intensity you’re experiencing is understandable in the context of prolonged strain, even though it feels very distressing.
At the same time, since you’ve mentioned BP spikes and feeling emotionally overwhelmed, this needs both medical and psychological support together.
It would be important and beneficial to consult a physician to assess your blood pressure and sleep pattern medically, while also beginning counselling support to help you process ongoing family stress, reduce emotional overload, and restore some stability in your daily functioning.
Health Tips
Try to sleep and wake up at the same time every day, even if sleep is less, to slowly reset your body clock. Avoid caffeine after afternoon and reduce phone use before bed. If your mind feels overactive, write your thoughts down and focus on slow breathing.
Hi, thank you for sharing your experience. Constant family pressure, comparison, and interference can become emotionally exhausting and may affect sleep, stress levels, blood pressure, motivation, and overall wellbeing.
Please do not blame yourself for feeling overwhelmed. Chronic stress and lack of sleep can impact both mental and physical health. Try to take one step at a time, maintain proper sleep and food, and practice breathing or relaxation exercises regularly.
Since these concerns seem to be affecting you deeply, consulting a counselling psychologist (CBT expert) or family therapist can help you manage stress, improve coping, and address family-related concerns in a healthier way.

Your cortisol is up due to stress, causing BP spikes, you need a therapeutic sleep schedule from 12 am to 3 am, what you can do is, play a low frequency like Theta waves on YouTube and listen to it while sleeping.
I can understand how difficult and overwhelming this must be for you. Dealing with chronic sleep deprivation, rising BP, and ongoing family stress together can take a serious toll on both your mental and physical health.
Sleeping only 4–5 hours for months can increase anxiety, irritability, and emotional exhaustion. The feeling of being judged or facing constant interference can further intensify stress and make it harder to cope.
What you’re experiencing is not something to ignore, and it’s important to address both:
Your sleep and anxiety levels
The family dynamics and communication patterns
With the right support, this can be managed. Family counselling can help in setting boundaries, improving communication and reducing emotional pressure at home.
If cost is a concern, you can still start with a few structured sessions at a nominal or flexible fee, and take it step by step.
Next Steps
For now, I would strongly suggest:
Try to get at least some rest today (even short naps help)
Avoid overstimulation (phone, arguments) before sleep
If BP is very high, please consult a physician immediately
