If the sleep disturbance is not persistent but happened only last night, sleep hygiene would help. If it’s a persistent problem, underlying psychiatric illness needs to be assessed.
Some good sleep hygiene practices are sleeping at the same time everyday, avoiding day time naps, having dinner 2 hrs prior to sleep time, keeping the room dark when its time to sleep, avoiding stimulating things like watching tv, mobile when it’s time to sleep etc
Negative and clouding of thoughts give rise to sleeplessness
Talk about it to a mental health professional. Discuss in detail
Consult with me or any psychologist for therapy and counseling
All the best
