Sleeping paralysis
My dad who is 58yrs old is i guess suffering from sleeping paralysis. He feels like some is choking him and he is not able to do anything. From past 30 yrs he is suffering from this. Is it dangerous to life? And what is the cure for it? Can it be cured by medication or is it supernatural? Pls suggest the solution.

Hello, Sleep paralysis is a common problem.By itself it is not harmful to health. But, if your father is facing excessive drowsiness during daytime, he ll need to be evaluated with a sleep study . If your father only has sleep paralysis while going to sleep and waking up from sleep and is otherwise normal, he can follow these suggestions to reduce the number of attacks. Avoid sleep deprivation . Follow regular sleep wake schedule. Avoid consuming alcohol.
