Dear human, thank you for sharing and reaching out. It sounds like you’re going through a difficult time due to trouble sleeping. This concern of not being able to sleep could be because of various reasons which need to be explored and analyzed during therapy. It could be because of mental health issues like anxiety, depression, stress, negative thoughts, overthinking, loneliness, uncertainty, etc, or any physical illness. First thing that you can do is to identify the reason for your sleep troubles and only then we could decide upon effective treatment ways to manage it.
Few suggestions that might be of help:
1. Pause your life and take a breath. Try thinking about reasons on why you’re unable to sleep because only you would possibly know what you’re undergoing. Think of any possible issues that might cause you this sleep trouble and list it down.
2. If you’re not able to find any reason, that’s completely okay. But if you’re able to list down a few reasons, try to arrange it in an order starting from things that would affect you the most. This would act as a form of expression and also an act of reflection on yourself.
3. If you’re able to point out a single reason or if you’re clear about things that are affecting you, try to figure out healthy ways to cope with it or manage it, be it mental health or physical health issues.
4. If you’re not able to figure out, that’s totally fine too. You could always seek professional help, therapists/psychologists/physicians. If you think that it’s a physical illness affecting you, consult a general doctor or a physician. If not, reach out to a mental health professional.
Hope this helps :)

Health Tips
Untill then,
1. Try to involve in any kind of physical movements daily like yoga, work-outs, jogging, running, taking a walk, dancing, playing a sport, etc, that would be preferable for you.
2. Practice mindfulness - It is being present at the moment and allowing any thoughts or emotions to flow through without any judgements. Mindfulness comes only through consistent practise. You could start this by doing for a very short period of time and gradually implementing it into your daily chores like mindful bathing, mindful eating, mindful working, etc.
For example, start with 5-4-3-2-1 technique, which is closing your eyes, taking a deep breath, and being in the present moment by naming 5 things that you can see, four things that you can hear, three things that you touch, two things that you can smell and one thing that you can taste. This small technique when done daily makes it habitual to be mindful always.
3. Listen to positive affirmations daily after waking up and before going to bed.
4. Maintain a healthy diet, eat healthy food, eat on time daily without skipping any meals.
5. Talk to someone regularly about your life, how you feel. This is a healthy form of expression to vent out your thoughts and emotions.
6. Practice journalling - If you're not comfortable in talking to someone, you could always be your own companion. Start writing down your thoughts, emotions or whatever you feel like writing. This is also a healthy form of expression and reflection.
Following all these might help in maintaining your physical as well as mental health
