Sleep deprivation can have causes that aren't due to underlying disease. Examples include stress, school or job requirements or poor sleeping habits.

Try these measures- Go to bed at the same time each night and get up at the same time each morning, including on the weekends. Use bed only for sleeping do not read book or use phone on bed. Make sure your bedroom is quiet, dark, relaxing, and at a comfortable temperature. Remove electronic devices, such as TVs, computers, and smart phones, from the bedroom. Avoid large meals, caffeine, smoking and alcohol before bedtime. Go for walk or exercise. If the problem persist consult nearby psychiatric clinic.
