Sleep deprivation
My father is aged 58 and has stents inserted on his heart on year 2007.
For last one month he is not able to sleep and says, he is feeling ghabrahat. We have carried out all heart, kidney, liver and stomach tests but all came normal.
The only problem is sleep, I want to know which sleep medicine is suitable for him since he has stents inserted in his heart.

Insomnia, either primary (without any other identifiable cause) or secondary (in background of some other cause like depression, medication, etc) is common at his age, and more specifically in context of cardiac disease. The medication for him should only be decided after a thorough medical, cardiac, and psychiatric assessment. Prescription without due assessment can be rather detrimental to his overall health. Hence my suggestion for you is that please seek a consultation with a psychiatrist near you for comprehensive assessment and further management..
