I have warts on my face around my forehead, below eyes and below lips. I consulted a doctor and she said it's melasma and i have been under medication since 2 months, but no significant changes has been observed

Hey...kindly share relavent photographs to make proper diagnosis whether it's melasma or wart... appropriate treatment is to be considered afterwards...consult online for detailed discussion and proper prescription...

These are viral warts as described by you, requires procedure ie RF cautery procedure, in which the lesions are burnt and the base is cauterized with chemical like carbolic acid so that the warts don't reappear at the same site.
Next Steps
It is advised that the warty lesion should not be scratched or cut it may reoccur at the same place.
