A wax drop last on babies skin I couldn't see. It last for 5 hours . After that I saw that side area was got red and swelling then I saw the wax it was not easily removable so I applied oil on it and just remove it by using my nail after that I saw the skin is torn. I am concern about the skin torn due to the nail or due to the wax reaction I couldn't understand.I have given him syrup Atarax but I am worried though the wax is completly removed from his hand or it is still there I have already applied petrolium jelly on wound 4 times and wiped it with soft cloth. What to do?

Hello,
From what you’ve described, it is possible that it was a blister due to hot wax which popped out.
Could you please upload a clear picture of the wound..
For now, maintain good hygiene. Avoid rubbing the wound forcefully while cleaning. Gently clean it with a sterile cloth or sterile gauze and apply T-Bact ointment..
Good job whatever you did correct only
Now just apply antibiotic cream called T - Bact ointment apply 4 times in a day for 1 week to avoid infection
This is enough
Hii
Skin breach can be from either nail injury or hot wax droplet. But don’t apply too much petroleum jelly, as the wound can get infected.
Get it examined by a Pediatrician once. If it is painful you can give Ibugesic syrup for the same.
