Sinusitis + nasal polyp
I have sinus problem for several years now. I also have nasal polyp, for which I got surgery done. But it has again come back. What can I do to keep it under control? My previous doctor had suggested fluticasone spray or nezaflow spray, but can I use it for a long period of time? I have blocked nose everyday, also sitting under the fan or in AC increases it. Can I take montek LC everyday to keep the sinus infection under control? Please advice.

Get a repeat CT scan . consult with a good ENT SURGEON. Most probably you will need revision surgery followed by daily nasal douching (Nasowash) and daily steroid nasal spray.

Yes.... Intranasal corticosteroid sprays can be safely used over many years. There is a Swedish study which confirms its safety in pregnant and lactating mothers where they were monitored for over 10 years and it was deemed the safest anti allergy medicine in pregnant and lactating mothers. Nasal polyps will definitely recur if medication is not taken for a few years!
