Single umbilical artery
Hello sir/mam
Here i am attaching the NT scan report of my wife . She is 12 weeks pregnant. Usg report showing single umbilical artery. Is it something very serious. Doctor said it is normal in 80% of the cases only in 20% cases child may have abnormalities. My wife's blood sample is taken for double marker test but report is pending. Attaching USG scan report here.
Please help we are worried about this

sometimes single umbilical artery may result in preterm delivery and low birth weight..in some cases syndromic babies can be born.confirmation can be done with amniocentesis
